Death of a Lipo / 6" of Fun

Ok, so high-KV and 6" props aren't a combo you see very often - but I was trying out some new motors, and after running through a bunch of different props on my thrust stand (GF5046bn, HQ5045bn, GF5040, KK6040, GF6040bn, HQ6045, FC6045x3, HQ6045bn) I concluded that my set up could probably cope with the KK6040, and the thrust would be epic.

My regular setup is HQ6045 on Cobra 2204/1960 - the new setup, based on the thrust stand, was going to provide 24% more thrust!! But the peak amps were rather hot... but I decided to try it anyway :D

Net result - huge grin but puffed lipo (I guess 1 out of 2 ain't bad!) - and these lipos had been very good to me thus far. Looks like I'm gonna need something better...
