Back from the Hawaii trip and getting back to a bit of normality, went out to a favourite spot with some buddies and ripped off 12 packs back to back. Such a blast to just be having fun again.
One of the pieces of tech I was very impressed with during DroneWorlds was the TBS Groundstation prototypes - they had great video quality, so when Trappy offered them up for sale (instead of shipping them all back to Hong Kong) I snapped one up. It gives really good range and penetration, and very few glitches. I usually hate carrying a basestation and just rely on my goggles - but let's see, I'll try goggles only next time, but I think this groundstation may be a permanent fixture in my (new Lowepro!) quad backpack :)
Motors CP2207/2300, CP2205/2300 and HQProps 5x4x4V1SPC (that's a mouthful!) and 5x4.5x3DPv2 (so is that!)
