Now this is taking a step back in time. To mark Thomas' 2000th flight for 2021 he decided to fly his first custom designed and built dedicated racing drone. He ended up only flying it for about 6 months since we grew really close with ImpulseRC in 2016 and ended up joining forces during the development of he Helix.
Some highlights of the build:
-Total frame weight is 88g
-Total build weight minus battery is ~334g
-ESCs are Little bee 20a (Before Blheli_s)
-Motors are T-Motor F40 V2 (2205 2300kv)
-Designed to carry an infrared transponder for lap timing, this quad predates modern VTX timing systems.
Only two JS204s were cut and both are still fully functional. Massive thanks to FPVModels who also did the carbon cutting for us. They were one of the first companies to get behind FPV. It was always a pleasure to work with them.
