The original Runcam Eagle had amazing picture quality, with a few flaws that some found fatal. The latency was too high and the picture had digital "shimmering" and distortion. The Eagle 2 fixes at least one of these problems. It also has better low-light sensitivity than the original, making it more of an all-round star.
In this review, I'll compare the Eagle 2 against the Eagle 1, and also the Rotor Riot Swift, to address the complaints of some people who felt I wasn't giving the Swift a fair shake.
