Back in 2019 I was lucky enough to spend some time in this amazing spot. I'd been sitting on the footage because there are various things I'm not happy with, but in the end perfect is the enemy of good, and this incredible place needs to be shared. It'll also serve as a snapshot in time of the glacier's size.
The Aletsch Glacier (German: Aletschgletscher) is the largest glacier in the Alps. It's distinctive moraine lines are formed when four glaciers upstream converge at Konkordiaplatz.
Filmed entirely using a Mavic 2 Pro, which produces horrible 60fps video, so this is all double speed 30fps footage.
