I love my Holybro Kopis. In fact, I think it is a contender for best "beginner" plug-n-fly quadcopter. But if there was one thing I'd change about it, it'd be the motors.
Then I noticed that I have some EFAW 2407 motors just waiting for a quad to put them in.
The difference between the T-Motor Air40 motors that come on the Kopis and the EFAW is night and day. The T-Motor Airs are small, light, smooth, and inexpensive. But not ultra powerful or torquey. The EFAW 2407 is... well, come on. 24. 07. What more do you need to see?
But just because motor is bigger and more powerful doesn't mean it'll make a quad fly better. And what about the amp draw? Are these big motors battery killers?
