DVR footage of my second semi final on the Friday. Ran 2:14, just 8 seconds off the finals, and quicker than the finals third place (nice work though Califrag!).
I won both races and came 13th overall in a field of 120, on a new, unfamiliar frame with tuning I wasn't happy with. So I'd say I'm pretty happy! The Vortex has more speed in it, I just didn't have a chance to get it dialled in.
Super thanks to ImmersionRC and Fatshark for getting myself and Chad there in the first place, and for providing the video gear we ran on. Trip of a lifetime...
You can see there is a lot of interference; it was variable from run to run. Unfortunately the grandstands and general RF environment was pretty ordinary so Yann and all the Immersion guys did a great job just to keep us in the air. Thanks guys. Thanks also to Scot and the army of awesome volunteers, without you guys and girls this would not have happened. History was made!
Can't wait for the next one :)
