This is how I go about building 5.8Ghz Antennas. They seem to work fine and range doesn't appear to be an issue at all. In any case I hope you find this video helpful. Its worth noting that this is the IBCrazy design antenna and not mine and the technique I use to build it is for the most part as per David's method on his web site, the calculator can now be found on the FliteTest Site http://www.flitetest.com/articles/Cloverleaf_Antenna
