This was our first FPV session since arriving back from Dubai and wow what a session. TrizFPV had constructed an amazing tower made of lightweight Aluminium and some pretty fancy printed banners on it. This was pure relaxed fun. Surprisingly that Zen Zone was amazing the fly around and fly through.
Keep in mind all Thomas has been doing lately is race practice and upon getting back from Dubai, he’s been hard at catching up on all the school work he missed out on. We only flew the morning session but had an awesome time and it was a great change from racing. We also had the pleasure of meeting some new faces along with Juz70 coming down for a fly too. Both Thomas and I are massive fans of his!! It’s also worth noting, when ever these two get together they not only put on a good show but always seem to manage to crash in a big way.
Thomas had the idea of Juz70 flying through the top of the tower and Thomas would go through the bottom and as such there would be NO POSSIBILITY of them crashing lol Juz70 decided to throw in a roll which effectively meant a slight drop in altitude resulting in a head on lol Both quads hit pretty hard but surprisingly the only casualty was one of Thomas’ Cobra motors . . oh and props.
All in all an insanely fun morning . . this is what FPV is all about.
