You don’t need a TS-100 when the Hakko FX-901 will get the job done. Half the price and a reliable alternative for those not looking to spend over $60 for a field iron. No lipo needed. Last 2 hours on re-chargeable NM batteries. Heats to over 600 degrees. Melts solder in 25 seconds from iron power switch OFF to ON. Not a bad alternative to the TS-100. I’ll be using this one this season.
