This was part of our Submission video for the Dubai Qualifying video. Unlike the previous video which had to be private, we thought it would be nice to share the flight footage section with our awesome community of friends and family. I did originally had a video up with Thomas' intro for his submission, which I know only some of you got to see. With this video you get to see the best part . . the flying.
We will be in Dubai for the next 10 days or so, making this the last video for a few weeks, but I will do my best to catch up.
It's been a rough few days for both myself and Thomas, who's been working his butt off at school, then coming home to more testing and building of quads and re-wiring etc and doing school work too
The other big surprise is the number of people that have joined in to help us make this all happen. I'm sure I'll forget to mention some of you but here it goes.
FPVModel - for being our main sponsor, who have done so much to make this happen. I'm not just talking about financial support but having people like Jason going from China to Hong Kong to pick up a part for us!! Pretty amazing Guys!!
ImpulseRC - Once they realised how tight the deadline was going to be, started building two Aliens for us!! They did most of the work on the weekend. Just insane support from Sean & Damien and the whole ImpulseRC Team.
TBS - Trappy himself messaging me and explaining how I needed to use his TBS Crossfire System and making sure he got it to our team for us to install.
TrizFPV - Printing off banners and Stickers for BMSweb. Didn't ask for this he just did this for us and got it delivered before our flight.
MISK - Our Hair Dresser who squeezed us in for haircuts before our flight.
Thomas' Teachers - for helping Thomas out with his workload and making sure he has homework to do in Dubai
And finally to all our friends (You guys) and our family, thanks for coming together to offer so much support and help.
In any case our game plan for Dubai is to hopefully meet a heap of people and have fun flying. This will be a very interesting competition in that it is so very different to anything else that’s been done and for all of us it’s going to be a total unknown, so hence the aim has got to be to have fun and not focus too much on the competition aspect since this is essentially why we all do this awesome hobby of FPV.
I'll do my best to keep our FB page and Instagram updated but that will depend on Wifi or some sort of Sim Card for my phone. Doubt I'll get any videos up for a while but I'll do my best to get back on track after we get back :D
