I was really sad and disappointed yesterday with the way my video turned out. But times like these are great learning opportunities, and I always try to live my life with that mindset. Here are some of the things I learned -
1. Apparently, I suck absolute **dolphin** at editing between the hours of 2am and 4am...
2. If you are trying to highlight how freaking amazing a spot is, don't use the first three packs you have EVER flown at that location to do so, especially if you aren't feeling "On" that day anyways when flying (...unless you are just an absolute beast-mode enabled pilot, which I am not lol)
3. Do not try to get gorgeous video with sh!tty props. If you are going to travel to an epic location, at least do your footage a favor and put a fresh set of blades on!
**4. Apparently, my GoPro hasn't been on Flat in the Protune settings this whole time... Whoops... So basically I have been trying to color grade GoPro Color, (which I double failed at, cuz I was using Log LUTs (which are what you should use when using Flat) when I should have been using Rec. 709 (which is what you should use when using GoPro Color)... So here is my "first" attempt at true Color Grading. I really hope you enjoy! :)
