People are always asking me, "What target should I flash to my flight controller." The target is the thing you select from the pull-down menu when you flash the board: SPRacing, Dodo, Fury, etc... Each cleanflight / betaflight flight controller has a different hardware layout, and the target that you flash has to match the hardware layout of the board. If you flash the wrong target, you have to re-flash the entire board and may lose your configuration. But the good news is you probably won't brick the board or burn out any hardware!
The easiest way to find what target the board takes is to look at what target the vendor shipped. And you can do this using a simple CLI command. This video shows you how.
