Building season is upon us and it’s time for some big projects! Dave has big plans for a homemade hovercraft that will help us get back-and-forth around the airpark. Starting small and learning fast is the way to go. Dave works on his proof of concept while Josh begins designing and re-creating, an iconic aircraft from his childhood, the iron vulture from tailspin. The first thing we need to learn is can this 14 motor aircraft carrier fly? A Simple test with some foam, a ton of motors, and a lot of tuning will give us the answer. If everything works out, we will be flying the largest aircraft carrier we’ve ever built while cruising around in a homemade hovercraft.
