Just returned from a week of flying in Las Vegas at the XDC-HD race. We put it on during CES, so as to have a lot of people visiting from the convention and seeing what true drone racing is all about. I took 3rd place at the event. The event was less about true racing, and a bit more about being a venue to share what drone racing is, but that being said, all the competitors took it seriously and had a blast of a good time.
