It's been way too long since i've posted... life has been unfair to my FPV needs and my macbook is broken :( (spent weeks trying to fix it)... and editing on my phone sucks :)
Shout out to Orange County Flyers Club for inviting me here. It REALLY helps out to have a spot I can fly at night. If it wasn't for this spot, i wouldn't have been able to fly at all this past month.
I also went back to an H style frame here... i've been flying X's for a while (which i like) but i wanted to see for myself it was because of the X layout, or if it was the light weight of X's that i like so much. I chose this H frame because it's as light as the X frames i've been playing with. My conclusion... with a proper tune and the weights the same, theres very very little difference. Some may find the X a little easier to tune simply because roll and pitch will be very similar. Thought i should add that i built the LRC in "low profile" meaning the top plate is sitting on 20mm standoffs bringing the central mass closer to the prop line (which also accounts for how well it flies).
