The Chameleon is Flying!! (although theres a bit more duct tape then I would have liked)

Spent a bunch of time building my beautiful new Armattan Chameleon, and it looked soooo clean! Then I went to calibrate motors and to my horror the corner that had started on fire was not spinning. Swapped signal wires and sure enough the M4 output on my Revolt was fried. I was terribly depressed because I knew this meant I was not going to be able to fly in Arkansas this weekend. This was Thursday Night.

But then I had a thought like "dude what would JC do? He'd figured out a way to fix that old broken KISS FC and still get to fly!" So I ripped out the Revolt, tossed in my old KISS FC, flashed it with BetaFlight, remapped the broken motor output on it to a different PWM pad, saw all 4 motors spin, and then preceded to go to bed. When I got up I learned that JC had died that night, and I was devastated :(

Friday afternoon I got to maiden her, went to adjust rates a bit and stupidly changed to DSHOT without reading whether there were any issues. The beginning of this video was what happened next :P after replacing another busted ESC :/ (so glad I bought two lol) I went to take off again. Oops motor direction backwards from the last ESC. Pulled off the tape, resoldered motor wires, buttoned her up again, and in the sky we went.

RIP JC Culpepper, we will all miss your positive, always cheery vibe.
