Flight testing of the F-60 2207 2450kv Hollow Shaft T-Motors. These motors were provided directly by T-Motor for testing, review and feedback.
We decided to get them on Thomas’ 6” Alien since it had been running with under powered Cobra 2204 motors for some time. Thomas managed to get an awesome tune out of these motors. Essentially all we did was replace the 2204 motors with these and put on the GoPro so we could get HD footage to share on Youtube.
It took about 3 Packs to get the tune to this stage. We have the maiden with these motors in a previous video but as requested here is a follow up video with Thomas talking us through the flight.
Essentially these motors worked way better than expected and it’s just a matter of time now to see how they go and how long the bearing etc last on them.
Interestingly his F-40 V2 lasted just over 4 months of racing. Keep in mind racing and race practice is a lot harsher on motors than acro flying.
We will provide further feedback on these motors in the coming weeks / months.

NOTE: I know many of want data such as thrust test etc Please take the time to search for other videos and forums for data on Thrust, Amps, Watts etc Thomas and myself have minimal interest in static thrust tests since the only thing thats relevant to us is how the quad flies, feels and how long the motors last. Also T-Motor have extensive Tests on various prop and throttle combinations on these motors on their FB Page in the form of a Google Doc.
