Man this whole getting dark earlier thing is a b-----! I had just enough time to swap 2 fully murdered motors and 1 half-murdered motor out with spares and sneak in a few packs before sunset though (and Wild Willy's AirVuz Live Tiny Whoop Race!!! Which was sweeeeet!!! Did you guys check it out??)
Also, so this flight is LiPo #4 after flying without a mic for the first time in a long time. I ripped it off at the concrete death explosion spot and didn't have a chance to solder a new one on. SOOO INTERESTING!!! The first pack was not comfortable at all, cuz I kept hearing the delayed sound from the quad way out in the field and it was tripping me out. So for the last three packs I had music playing, and daaaaaaang, I think I might have just found the missing element! Although it's still kinda freaky to not hear your motors, and on one pack I hit a tree as I was yawing through and didn't even realize it until I got whipped around hard the other way, I think I might just try running no mic for a while and see how it works out.
