Iv been away the last couple of days testing the runcam split 2
It has been a challenge with being one of the first to try but I will
give my full review very soon
in short I have found that:
using solder pads for wider voltage range produces a lot of noise
and is not that useful.
using 5V usb port gets rid of all noise making it same as original
latency feels better compared to first one
Microphone is about the same
I prefer the SD card on a spring and the shielding can be used to
block out RF noise
Finding models it will fit is challenging because of the fight for
room in the stack.
for best use with OSD finding a VTX with 5v is very useful so that
both split and VTX can share common ground to avoid OSD dissapearing under throttle.
EDIT After uploading this vid to youtube there are some strange lines in the top right of the footage that do not seem to be there on the original files. youtube encoder compatibility issue?
I fitted it to the furibee X215
there is some slight jello when fitted to bigger models
I think will be most suited to the 130 sized model which should
have less vibrations.
