DRL pilot Gab707 hiked three hours off trail to fly Kilauea volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island on April 19th, just three weeks before it started erupting. Tough to fly here - strong winds, very turbulent near the ground, no landmarks - but Gab got within 4 meters of the lava for some epic angles.
