I don’t know how you do it Jeff, these concrete bando things are INTENSE!! I’ve been wanting to fly here for FOREVER but just couldn’t ever figure out who owned it to ask. Finally, as a last ditch effort I just drove there because I knew a sign outside the entrance listed a phone number for appointments, and even though I thought the number was probably invalid anymore, I figured it was worth a shot. What were the odds that as I pulled up a truck was heading back down the lane towards me?!? After a couple big smiles and some appreciatively convincing words, I had scored permission!!!
So there is going to be one point in the video where I’m in the middle of a roll through a steel beam window gap and the clip cuts off. That was all I could recover (and yes I did make it through the gap all sexy like :P). Shortly after that point I did this massive dive in through the roof, hit one of the steel tension rod things, and EXPLODED all over the concrete. Actually, it appears everything is pretty much fine, the top plate on my chameleon is bowed slightly and one of the layers of carbon is sticking out a bit, but the lipo, motors, GoPro, and even the props look fine!!! However, when I looked at the GoPro screen, it said “Format SD, Yes or No”… ahhhhhhhhhhh NO NO NO I said lol… Luckily only the last clip was corrupted.
So the clips without audio are from the recovered corrupted footage, sorry I wasn’t able to save that sweet snappy motor noise… Hope you enjoy!!
