This was super hard to get through. I know i don't need to elaborate any further.
You made me a father, Matt. I didn't know what to expect beyond what movies and Television showed - which i later found was FAR from reality, LOL. Guiding you through your childhood offered many challenges and blessing that i'll always hold dear to my heart, but you'll never know how proud you've made me throughout those years because i failed to tell you as often as it happened. I can never go back and right those lost moments but just know that in my heart it was happening. This last step you're about to embark on has made me the most proudest. Not graduating HS, not joining the USAF (while those and more are totally worthy), but having the courage to leave the securities and safety nets we've provided and run into the world head on! Its mind boggling the journey you've come to get here Matt, and at times i wasn't sure if you were going to be in a good position to tackle this life event, but you've clearly proved those thoughts wrong! I'm proud to be your father and I'm PROUD to call you my son!
