I'm so excited for the future! This quad is flying like ABSOLUTE PURE BUTTER now!! The tune in this video is pretty dang close, but I just got done flying two more packs during my lunch break and tweaked it a little more and it's almost PERFECT :D
If you want to run the same tune here's what you gotta do. First, go watch Wild Willy's new video about Quopa Mode. Then, go download the newest version of RF1 (343 as of this writing), and follow Willy's instructions to a T, except set it to Low Filters instead of Normal (still change Yaw Gyro Averaging to 0).
Then, I slightly adjusted the PIDs trying to get rid of the slight, tight oscillations at higher throttle / overly twitchy feel when you are bashing on the sticks (...shouldn't be doing that, but I just can't help but aggressively throw that b-- around lol). On this video, I changed Roll P to 44, Pitch P to 42, and Yaw P to 40. It was pretty good, but felt a little less snappy / more delayed then I like. So over lunch I changed the PIDs back to Willy's (Skitzo's) except I raised Roll D to 34 and Pitch D to 33 and it's freaking AMAZINGLY GOOD!!! Sooooo much better than what you're about to see in this video I almost didn't upload it, but I'm not going to have time to edit the other one and upload yet today, so you get my first pack last night on Low Filters as well as a bit of footage from two packs I flew at sunrise this morning before it started raining again.
