Nicholas Sparks wrote a book called Every Breath, partially inspired by the Kindred Spirits Mailbox on Sunset Beach. As Nicholas Sparks explains, it's a place where passerby fill a journal with their thoughts, fears, and dreams. It's a mile and a half walk down the beach to reach this peaceful place.
