This year I got to fulfill a long term dream of mine and that was visit Joe Nall. As it happened I go this opportunity to visit 12 months after seeing Steele’s 2015 Joe Nall video and promised him I’d go back with him. The following is a snippet of our time there. The footage includes Steele's "KISS'd" Phantom which has a KISS FC, KISS 30a esc's and 2213 2000kv motors with HQ 6x4.5 props. Handles a little better than your average DJI product ;).
A huge shout out needs to go out to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with. You were all amazing people and it just goes to show how friendly the electric flight line and the Fixed wing 3D line is. Special mention goes to RJ Gritter, Colton Clark and Tavis Newman for allowing me to get up close and personal to their impressive but expensive toys. I also cannot forget David who really did go out of his way to make sure we were looked after and catered for as well as my buddy Steele who was part of nearly every single funny moment that I had. Bring on next year!!!
Please note: I am fully aware that some out there will have an issue with some of the footage on here and will grumble both in public and in private about it but to them I will only say this. Over the 3 days I was there I saw hundreds of of situations where fixed wing pilots that were breaking the rules or bending them but the difference is I just had the balls to post it on YouTube. To those who have an issue, chill, smile and relax. No Angels were hurt during the making of this video. Just some MonoKote...
Here is made me begin this trek with Steele 12 months earlier.
