Impulse RC Helix ZX5 Race practice with GoPro

Finally some race practice for Thomas in the lead up to Hawaii. It’s been Spring here for a while now and unfortunately the weather has been horrible here in Melbourne.
We’ve squeezed in the odd flight here and there but for the most part hardly any training in the lead up to Hawaii.

Strapped a GoPro on and did the course with the Hero4. Even though the Helix like all frames feels the weight of a GoPro camera, it’s still a nasty fast quad!

A lot of people have been asking for more practice videos and this is basically what Thomas will do in the lead up to a racing. Having said the this sort of flying doesn’t happen often because it’s way more fun just doing straight out Acro and flying what ever you like.

In any case I hope you enjoyed this flight. We’re planning on a number of really cool videos in the coming weeks once we get back from the worlds.
