This isn't intended to sound whiney or anything like that. But this is something that I've identified as a skill that I want to improve so I want to share my experience as I continue to invest more time on tuning my little flying robots.
The first flight clip was on a Betaflight quad, the second was on a Raceflight (Betaflight and Raceflight are different firmwares that control the flight of the drone)
For anyone new or less familiar with drones,
PID tuning is setting the gains of the PID controller on your flight board and firmware to tune the performance of of your drone. PID tuning is as much of an art as it is science and it is an area that I have not put in enough effort as I have other areas.
I'm working on it and I'm excited to share my progression.
I hope the flight performance of my drones in this video represent the effort that I've been putting in over the last few weeks, and I look forward to improving even further.
