This series of lessons uses the free FPV Freerider simulator to teach a complete beginner how to fly an FPV multirotor in acro (no autoleveling) mode. You can learn to fly a quadcopter at home in front of your computer for almost no money. You can learn to fly without any fear of crashing and breaking an expensive toy. In this lesson, I show you the "figure 8 plus drill". This drill will teach you to line up on targets smoothly and precisely, even when the target is not visible at first. This drill is the beginning of the type of skill you will need to go through air gates at speed when racing.
