This series of lessons uses the free FPV Freerider simulator to teach a complete beginner how to fly an FPV multirotor in acro (no autoleveling) mode. You can learn to fly a quadcopter at home in front of your computer for almost no money. You can learn to fly without any fear of crashing and breaking an expensive toy. And yes, the things you learn here WILL translate over to real life.
If you wan to "tree dance" like Charpu or Skitzo or FinalGlideAus, you need to know how to do a split-s. This maneuver involves rolling over inverted and then pitching back until you are right-side up again. It sounds simple, and it is, but when done correctly, it's a very beautiful, smooth, and graceful move. It's a staple of an acro pilot's repertoire. PS: Don't call it an Immelman. It's the opposite of an Immelman.
