Holybro Shuriken 180 In-Flight Review

The single biggest question you can ask about an almost ready-to-fly quadcopter like the Holybro Shuriken is: how does it fly? RTF and ARF quadcopters are often designed to be palatable to a wide audience, and that usually means they don't fly well. Let's see how much performance I can wring out of this one!

This video is broken up into four segments:

0:00 - I fly the Shuriken with totally stock PIDs and rates. Exactly how it came out of the box.

1:42 - I fly again with stock PIDs, but this time I raise the rates to something closer to what I normally fly. Now the aerobatic maneuvers are more like you are used to seeing from me.

3:53 - I do a rough tune on the PIDs. I could probably get them a little bit better with some more work, but this is a decent first pass.

8:08 - I flash the copter to Betaflight 3.0 and fly on the default PIDs. How much better is Betaflight 3.0 than Cleanflight 1.12? Let's just say... a lot.
