Flight review footage with opinions from 4 different pilots all of which were flying Mini Quads. Most people agreed with both Thomas and my views after using the headplay including a number of people that I’ve spoken with overseas. So essentially my advice would have been they are well suited to Aircraft and higher stuff rather than mini quads. After seeing how Mark from QLD flew, and the points he brought up, I’ve come to the conclusion I didn’t give them enough of a chance. So I’ll be flying with them again on the mini quad.
Its also worth noting the Mark was running a 2.1mm lens as opposed to the 2.8mm that Thomas and fly with.
If you’re flying an Inspire 1 or Aircraft etc, these are going to be killer goggles. The internal RX on these is fantastic, no two ways about it. We haven’t run an external RX so I can’t comment on that.
