Good Old Times 2011

i thought to bring back some videos from many years ago in some kind of series. what do you think?

this y6 was selfmade out of aluminum profil tubes and fr4 plates. using a diy multiwii flightcontroller consisting of an arduino pro mini board and a gyro sensor extracted from a controller add on (wmp - wii motion plus) for the nintendo wii gaming console. a gyro was the only sensor, so no stable mode or any other stabilized modes except manual/acro mode. the hobbywing escs are made for planes. there was no simonk, blheli, kiss or other multicopter specialized escs or fw.

this y6 would fit in the todays x-class specs.

im so tempted to build one again.
