FrSky Taranis M9 Hall Sensor Gimbals | Flight Test

Finally FrSky release and Awesome Gimbal set of the Taranis X9D Radio. Unlike gimbals with Potentiometers, Hall Sensors on the M9 should last a lifetime and with perfect operation.

So how to these feel on the Taranis? Well you’re going to experience Thomas’ first flight with them. We’ve tried to keep the quads as close as possible to each other. Thomas changed over to the same props as mine and the only difference between the quads being his motors have a touch more power.

Flying with these gimbals feels supper smooth. It feels like you have a touch more resolution. That’s the only way I can explain it. The Sticks are very smooth and solid to operate.

All in all, FrSky have done an awesome job on these gimbals for the Taranis. I have no doubt they are going to make a killing on these!! So great job guys and that’s for listening to us :D

Also worth mentioning we haven't adjusted the Gimbal stick height. They are adjustable
