This is a simple and effective way of discharging very high amps from a LiPo or other source, without having to spend a lot of money or build anything complicated. This device is great for testing LiPos. Basically, it is a big block of wood, wrapped in steel wire, and set in a bucket of water--a giant hot water kettle actually.
