Ever wondered how a Racer 4 compares to a racing quad, where it's strengths and weaknesses are, well this isn't that video 🤣 But in all seriousness we've had a number of questions about how the DRL racers compare to a racing quad on a track and this is a video showing Thomas flying both the DRL Racer and the JS-1.
It's a 5 lap race video and what I've done is picked a flight where he's come straight off flying the Racer 4 a number times against Wild Willy. What you'll notice is the lap times come down significantly on the JS-1 and that's because Thomas is adapting to the JS-1 again which has far more power and therefore takes a while to adapt to.
The point of this video is you can't make a direct comparison between the two since they are both made with completely different mindsets and goals. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this fun comparison.
