DJI Mavic Pro with Fatshark and Headplay HD FPV Goggles

I have been flying FPV quads and mini quads for many years; my first big multicopters were floaty camera ships using the DJI NAZA.

Finally, with the Mavic, I have a dream AP platform - with one exception. You have to fly with a phone screen, because there is no HDMI out from the controller.

But there is a way, using the Nvidia K1 Shield tablet. Here I show you how.

Conclusions: Yes! It works a treat. Lag is there but is minimal. So much more immersive than using a screen. You will need a spotter though.

Overall I preferred the Fatsharks despite the image being smaller and the resolution lower. It was still clear and crisp and the goggles are much more comfortable.
