DJI Goggles RE are DJI's entry into the FPV racing market. Nobody in their right mind would pay $600 for a box-style FPV goggle. So what have they got that makes them so valuable?

The DJI Ocusync, that's what.

The DJI OcuSync is a high-definition (720p) digital video transmitter that communicates to the Goggles RE using DJI's proprietary technology. It claims to be able to transmit both video AND CONTROL LINK over several kilometers.

That's cool, but that's not why I've got this equipment on my bench. DJI claims this gear is going to bring high-definition video to racing. Is it? Let's find out.
