I wish I had a backup drone :/ ...The original thumbnail caption read "My Best Flight EVER", but it got changed once I realized that I won't be getting to fly in Arkansas after all :( :( :(
...I'm kinda depressed right now, just finished building the Armattan Chameleon, replaced the motor and ESC that started on fire, held my breath, plugged it in, and whew no magic smoke! But it would just be my luck that the M1 output on the Revolt V2 also got fried on that fiery day and althought when I swap the new parts to the M4 output they work great, I can't quite fly a Chameleon with only three working motors :/
I almost didn’t stop at this spot… As I headed towards the parking lot, not even 200 feet up a cop had pulled someone over. Almost exactly where I ended up flying. As I pulled into my parking spot, another cop rolled up and joined in. I sat there for a few seconds, thought “hmmm, obviously this is going to draw their attention. I’m almost guaranteed to be talking to them the second they hear those F60 Pro’s SCREAM… Well f’k it, I’m not doing anything wrong by flying here”. And I grabbed my stuff and headed down the way. Plus I realized that the first cop was actually a super nice dude I graduated with, so I figured when they came to chat about what I was doing, at least I would be allowed to state my thoughts and have them actually heard. Well by the time my slow-behind finally plugged in and took off, they had been gone for a couple of minutes, so encounter averted (but I sure didn’t know that was the case when I was flying that one pack hahaha) :P
