On the 15th of April 2018 the first ever drone race, the Bushiri Open, was held on Aruba. With pilots from all over the world, but mainly from the Caribbean, we got to race each other in the sun, under rather windy conditions. Dino Joghi took 1st place, Sander Sassen (me) 2nd and Tim van Vliet took 3rd place after battling it out in several heats and qualifiers.
