BLheli-S and Betaflight flight test.

I apologize for the gopro being dirty and loosely mounted.

As someone who is rarely inclined to try new things when the set ups I have are working fine for me, I had delayed even updating firmware on any of my KISS gear until recently, let alone building a whole new set up to try betaflight and the new BlheliS escs. However I was kindly donated some ESCs by dragonRC so decided to give it a go.
Long story short I was planning to do a full side by side review by the pack after this one I got the quad stuck at the top of the tree and it was dark by the time I got it down. So I figured I would just post this up anyway as its better than nothing.

My impressions are that if you can take the time to tune and play with your rates you can make betaflight and kiss fly virtually exactly the same. This tune is far from perfect, but then my KISS tune isnt perfect either, both feel fine to me and Id be equally happy flying either. It feels to me like we are getting to a really nice point now where just about any set up can be made to perform really nicely. Ill be sticking with KISS myself, mostly because I have more of their stuff already and I like to keep it all the same. But would advise anyone who is budget conscious and starting from scratch to probably go the belheliS route. These particular ESCs were great to work with and seem perfectly reliable so far.
