Finally got a chance to edit some flights. This was from the FPV meet at Glen Helen Park (my first meet). It was cool to finally meet a group of fellow FPV'ers (1st time) and 1st time flying in winds this crazy! It was cool to watch Mr. XHover fly too.
People have always asked how my setups fly in the wind. I'd say the winds didn't affect flight as bad as I thought... you just have to learn to dance with it. This was definitely the strongest winds i've ever flown in. Oscillations were very very minimal (considering my PID tune is usually on the very edge).
My taranis kept yelling to me, "voltage critical!" but I kept going anyways (you use a lot more throttle when its this windy). I should have taken a picture of the battery (looked like the michelin man!). Amazingly, by the time I got home, the puff had shrank back to near normal.
