Found this in my unlisted uploads and figured I may as well publish it here. This was a promo filmed for last year's Australian Drone Nationals in conjunction with the Australian Army Drone Racing Team.
It was a challenging day due to the weather but the end result was pretty sweet. Released on social media by the Army, this is the 4K remastered version I made for the 2017 DFFANZ.
No quads were killed in the making of this video but it was a pretty close run thing and several were definitely harmed. :D

This video was recorded by some of Australia's best first person view freestyle and drone racing pilots in conjunction with the Australian Army. Edited by two of Australia's well know pioneers in FPV Drone Racing - Mark Cocquio and Tighe Brown. This video is to highlight new and future possibilities using this fast and exciting technology, also to highlight the future of a new emerging sport, First Person View Drone Racing.
New technologies are being exploited all the time. The Australian Army is exploring how the range of current unmanned aerial systems - drones - can be used to help our Diggers.
