A detailed walk-through of how I constructed an ammo-can carrying case for my 12v/24v power supply. This makes a great way of transporting the modular server PSU's without damaging them, as well as keeping them cool and dust-free. The addition of a constant-current step-down supply is just a bonus.

For the ammo can, go to your local military surplus, or Costco also carries them (at least mine does) at a good price. Buying them new from e.g. Amazon will be really expensive. You can also go with a plastic one if you want, which will have the advantage that it is MUCH easier to drill and cut. The square cutouts for the display and the regulator were a freaking nightmare.
