I don’t usually share really private stuff on this account but tonight I’ve been thinking.
Of all the close people I’ve loved in my life so far, my grandfather has been the one pushing my imagination to its best level.
As a kid, I loved telling stories and he was maybe the only one who was truly listening to me and living them with me.
I’ve come back to telling stories, thanks to FPV, editing, photography... But it took me so long to be back at it that I feel I got lost on the way and I must say, I am still not really there yet.
.
So, this is why I have this message to share with you tonight :
In life, try and be the person your past 8 years old self would be happy to become.
Sometimes I think « how would younger me react if I told her what I am actually doing right now ? »
It really helps.
When you’re a mess, or doing some stupid stuff or when you’re so wrong you should be ashamed, think of how Younger You would have looked at you.
And it helps too, when you’re winning or when you’re happy or when you finally achieve something dear to your heart.
Because Younger You is still there, sitting somewhere in your heart.
Listen to their voice.
And remember that of all the people that have met you to this day, the one who have always known what is actually good for you, is the true child you used to be ✌️
