Before 'social media' I had 60 friends on Facebook, and personally knew each one.
Before any news articles quoting me I was humbled by the technology and spread its gospel locally.
Before ranking in 4 different drone sports leagues- I was inspired to compete, and had practiced to race against the 'myth & legend' charpu, as he was semi local and rumored to be at the first race I competed in- and if he had I suspect I would have lost and history could have been different.
Many have tapped me on the shoulder and have told me to get back to my roots. My roots are in competition, along with the escapism of flying. Plain and simple. My love for FPV and passion for it are at my core.
My love and need for better technology to express my flying drove me to collaborate on and help innovate new products for the market.
And yeah, at times pushing for more women and misfits in FPV to not feel so alone. It's more than a technology for me, it's a way of life, friends, a community I call family, and a passion that has driven me.
Flying is only a part of what FPV means to me, and maybe that's both the problem and solution. Meh, it's late, I'm tired, in pain, and I've been on an introspective exsistinal crisis of a bender since the car accident. #what #does #fpv #mean #life #drones
