Illegal unleashed dog ends up trying to take down my new X Class Drone Racing setup on the first test flight. Owner did not control his dog- my spotter had to grab the leash so I could safely land. If I had not blipped throttle as the dog was incoming it'd be a whole different story. The video is another 30 seconds long of me yelling at the owner to grab their dog while they did nothing.
This is the third time I've flown and have had an unleashed(in the areas I fly legally, with dogs off leash being against the law) dog attack me mid flight.
Dear locals, leash your pets in public... It's the law. Nobody has been 'attacked' by a drone in Santa Cruz, but several people have been attacked by off leash dogs just this year.
Seriously. Someone/something could have gotten hurt.
